Ingredients

500 gr ground beef
3 fresh peppers
1 onion
½ bunch of parsley
1 tbsp salt
1 tbsp cumin
1 tbsp black pepper
5 tbsp bread crumbs
1 egg
3 potatoes
3 tbsp sunflower oil (or olive oil)

FOR THE SAUCE
3 tomatoes
1 tbsp tomato paste
3 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp salt
½ tbsp paprika
1/2 cup of hot water

Instructions

Put the ground beef in a large bowl then add grated onion, bread crumbs, egg, thinly chopped parsley, salt, cumin, and black pepper and knead it thoroughly.

Make the meatballs into an oval shape and set them aside.

Cut the potatoes into wedges.

Put the sunflower oil in a large pot and fry the potatoes a little bit then take the fried potatoes aside, fry the meatballs a little bit, and let them dry on towel paper.

For the sauce; Cut the tomatoes into wedges and put them in a pan then add tomato paste, olive oil, salt, paprika, and hot water then close the lid, and cook for 5 minutes.

Put the meatballs into a baking bowl, add the potatoes, add the tomato wedges, add the sauce, and add the big sliced fresh peppers on top.

Preheat the oven to 200 C / 400 F degrees and bake for 15 minutes. You can serve it with rice.
