Semolina Halva with Ice Cream, which is preferred as a light dessert after meals, regulates your blood sugar and is very healthy for heart and kidney health.
500 gr semolina
1 stick of butter
2 cups of milk
1 cup of water
2 cups of sugar (if you like your dessert sweet, you could use 2.5 cups)
Vanilla ice cream
Put milk, water, and sugar in a small pot and warm it up until the sugar completely melts.
Then turn off the heat. Take a medium-sized pot and put the butter in it. Wait until it melts.
Add semolina. Stir with a wooden spoon constantly until the semolina turns brownish.
Add the warm milk to the semolina very carefully and slowly. After the dessert calms down, stir until it’s dense. Turn off the heat. Close the lid and let it rest.
Take a metal or porcelain bowl, and place a clear foil inside. When the halva is cool enough to eat, stir and fill the bottom and the sides of the bowls.
Put a spoonful of ice cream in the middle of the semolina pit.
Cover it with a plate where the bottom of the plate is facing you. Turn the bowl upside down and remove the bowl and the foil so the halva will be on your plate like a half-moon.
Decorate with pine nuts and serve immediately.
